Volunteering is an amazing opportunity to learn new skills, contribute to a good cause, meet new people and make a difference.

There are many ways that you can help make a difference to people living with Multiple Sclerosis and if you are able to volunteer on a weekly, monthly, annual basis we would love to hear from you.

For more information about volunteering with MS Auckland please contact Becky Tucker by email at: becky@msakl.org.nz

Here are some volunteer opportunities – If you are interested in volunteering for MS Auckland, please apply here.

Hydrotherapy

MS Auckland runs Hydrotherapy groups across Auckland tailored for people with Multiple Sclerosis.  Classes are weekly for one hour in Epsom, Manurewa, Pakuranga, Henderson and the North Shore.  We are always on the lookout for reliable volunteers to assist with these classes.

Please read our Hydrotherapy Guidelines

Events

Help out at one of our Fundraising events throughout the year, such as Street Appeal and Life Buoy.

Community Friend

People diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis can often find themselves increasingly isolated if their mobility is reduced. We introduce volunteers to a person who would like a regular visitor for help and support.  This might be helping with shopping or chatting over a cup of tea.
