MS Auckland organises group or individual counselling sessions

Group counselling sessions are for 6 to 8 people that are facilitated by a specialist grief therapist.  The courses are heavily subsidised but a small fee does apply.

These are normally held as 6 sessions of two-hours each week and cover the following topics:

  • Grief and loss
  • Work
  • Dealing with ‘overwhelm’
  • Family, friends and socialising – secondary losses
  • Relationships and intimacy
  • Building a future – meaning making and hope
