Dr Debbie Mason has spent many years studying multiple sclerosis in New Zealand. In her Research Day presentation she highlighted some of the amazing findings that they have generated from this work. As an example, she discussed why people down south have a higher rate of MS than those in the north and if that pattern has been changing over time, as well as potential links to Vitamin D levels. Debbie’s full presentation video is recommended viewing – there is no greater example of research happening in our own backyard that is directly relevant to you!
