Group Counselling Courses
MS Auckland organises group counselling sessions for 6 to 8 people that are facilitated by a specialist grief therapist. These are done over 6 weeks with two-hour sessions covering the following topics:
- Grief and loss
- Dealing with ‘overwhelm’
- Family, friends and socialising – secondary losses
- Relationships and intimacy
- Building a future – meaning, making and hope
The courses are heavily subsidised but a small fee does apply. Fees can be waived if needed. If you are interested in learning more or putting your name down for future courses, please contact a Community Advisor or e-mail Tatjana@msakl.org.nz.
If you are interested in individual counselling we can suggest people you may want to contact. You can then arrange an appointment directly with the counsellor or psychologist you choose (this is not done by MS Auckland). For more information please contact our Services Manager, Tatjana on Tatjana@msakl.org.nz
