Become a volunteerThe Society is a non-profit organisation directed by volunteers, including the Committee, the members of which are elected annually by the general membership. Volunteers come from all walks of life and all circumstances. Some have Multiple Sclerosis themselves; others have a family member or friend with the disease. Many get involved simply because they care about, and want to help in, the fight against MS. Without volunteers, it would be impossible for the Society to extend the range of programmes currently offered to its clients, or provide many of the aids to daily living that make life easier for those with MS. From medical professionals who donate their time for speaking engagements and workshops, to the advisory committees for each of our fund raising events, each volunteer is a unique and vital part of the way we meet our mission: to end the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis.
