Support the MS Society

1. Make a donation

In New Zealand, simply ring 0900 Yes 2 MS (0900 937 267) to make an instant $20 donation.

You can also make a $3 donation by texting MS to 3726.

Your donation will be charged on your telephone bill. Children, please ask your parents first.

(If you wish to contact the Society, please do not use the 0900 number above. Please use the regular office telephone number, (64 9) 845 5921, or refer to the contact details.)

To donate a different amount, please use our Donation/Membership form. You can either:
* download the form, complete and email it
    (requires Microsoft Excel)
* print the form and post it
(requires the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.)

2. Become a member

Membership in the MS Society costs NZ$20 per year and helps provide services to people with MS and their families.

As a member, you will receive a bi-monthy newsletter which includes information on managing MS plus research and legislative issues.

The Society provide members with access to some aid equipment at special low prices.

Becoming a member of the MS Society is an excellent way to network and make some friends etc. while supporting a very worthy cause for only $20!

You can either:

    (requires Microsoft Excel)
* print the form and post it
(requires the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.)

3. Make a bequest

Please consult your lawyer or solicitor. You may wish to refer to the NZ Law Society's pamphlet: Making a Will and Estate Administration.

4. Become a volunteer

The Society is a non-profit organisation directed by volunteers, including the Committee, the members of which are elected annually by the general membership.

Volunteers come from all walks of life and all circumstances. Some have Multiple Sclerosis themselves; others have a family member or friend with the disease. Many get involved simply because they care about, and want to help in, the fight against MS.

Without volunteers, it would be impossible for the Society to extend the range of programmes currently offered to its clients, or provide many of the aids to daily living that make life easier for those with MS.

From medical professionals who donate their time for speaking engagements and workshops, to the advisory committees for each of our fund raising events, each volunteer is a unique and vital part of the way we meet our mission: to end the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis.
