  • referrals to Wheelchair Services
  • information on converting a car to hand controls.

The Disability Resource Centre (located in Royal Oak, Auckland, tel: 625 8069) provides information regarding home modifications to accommodate the disabled.

Note: Before modifying your home or car, it is essential to seek professional advice from an Occupational Therapist.
