The MS Auckland Region DREAMS Programme is Delightful Recreational Events and Activities for People with MS.

DREAMS is an opportunity for people with MS to socialise, enhance skills, share in activities with their family or caregivers, meet people with similar interests, and most of all to have fun!

All activities reflect the interests of our members. Events include cultural, adventurous, social, arts and crafts activities and many other ideas that are suggested by our members.

This programme was launched in April 2003 by Tab Baldwin, coach of the Tall Blacks. Since then we have made DREAMS happen for many of our members. If you have a DREAM, or you would like to make a DREAM come true for someone else, please contact us.

Our DREAMS are made possible by funding from individuals and trusts, our staff, and our wonderful team of volunteers.

Past DREAMS

Harbour Cruise
An escape from the city to cruise on the sparkling waters of Auckland’s beautiful Harbour.

Wheel and Walk around Tamaki Drive
Heading east from the city taking a leisurely stroll around the waterfront, ending with a BBQ at Mission Bay.

DC3 Plane Ride
A scenic flight over and around some of the most beautiful places in Auckland.

Christmas Party with Dance Group
Celebrating the spirit of Christmas with a group that demonstrates the dancing skills of people with different levels of abilities.

Mid winter Lunch with Entertainment
A burst of festive spirit mid-year with a lunch at Springs Garden Restaurant, including comedian entertainment.

Animal Show
An experience of natural New Zealand at a beautiful farm and nature park.

Ten Pin Bowling
An opportunity for people with MS to have a fun and social day out, and for some offering the chance to try out a new sport.

Visit to Auckland Museum
A day of emersion in the cultural, social and natural history of New Zealand and the World.

Crafts Event
An opportunity to test creative skills and make gifts for loved ones.
